The National Literacy Trust works with schools and communities to give disadvantaged children and young people the literacy skills to succeed in life. Connecting Stories is a new programme, funded by the Arts Council England and developed in partnership with the publishing industry. Together they will work with children and young people in 14 communities across the country to champion the joy of creative writing and reading for enjoyment.
